New lens

Journal Entry: Thu Jan 28, 2010, 7:39 AM

today I got my new lens, the ef 100mm Macro L USM IS.

:thumb152046882::thumb152046825:

It will replace my efs 60mm macro, maybe I get some better shots:D
The first impressions are very good, I love the new IS:)

Now I'm using three lenses:
ef 17-40mm L USM
ef 100mm L USM IS
ef 100-400mm L USM IS

:thumb152046771:

I will buy a new body(7d,5d or 1d) in a half year, I hate my eos 400d:D

away until tuesday

what do you mean with limited lens?

Its a great lens, don't you have a lens like the efs 18-55mm?
The ef 17-40mm is better, sharper etc, but the efs 18-55mm is pretty good too. My sunray-shots are taken with this lens;)

I think you should buy a macrolens first, if you have a efs 18-55mm.
If not, you sould buy a wide angle lens:)

A very nice collection... I was wondering how you liked your 100x400 l glass..? Do you use it enough to make it pay for the weight? Just a quick question because I have been considering putting one on my 7d...Thanks...D.

The 100MM is an amazing lens. I could use some better attatchments to increase the magnitude a little, but even lacking those, it takes beautiful shots.

It makes a perfect standard lense. Great for macro and portraits. Clearest shots I've ever had.

Though I don't have the L series... I should look into that.
