What I love the most about this shot is the light and dark contrast at the top of the picture. The darkness of the thick forest at the top gives a perfect natural border and the sun beneath only accentuates this to perfection. The distance between the trees is perfect too. I'm not sure if this was planned or not but the light and dark stripes look incredible... the sun weaving its way through those trees.
I love how it's in 3 stages, dark, light, colour. The soft colours and orange tones at the bottom give this image a real soothing effect. I feel almost like I could be there.. seems so very peaceful!
I can't see anything in this image to criticize or give advice on.. I feel it's just wonderful! Wonderful work!
